SAPPHIRE has made commendable progress in fulfilling its objective of becoming a fairer, responsible, and eco-friendly company. Our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact 2019 has enabled us to align with the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030. As a part of this mission, we have established a recycling plant that can recycle both pre and post-consumer waste and regenerate fibers. Within a four-month span, we were able to increase our daily capacity from 3 to 15 tons, leading to our nomination as a supplier in Pakistan for pre- and post-consumer recycling by H&M.

Our visionary "little by little" campaign has resulted in significant measures being taken to reduce our plastic waste, with the replacement of 2.5 million plastic bags and the utilization of 13000 kgs of fabric till now. SAPPHIRE recognizes its responsibility towards the community and is committed to the CEO Water Mandate, as per which, has installed a Wastewater treatment plant throughout its facility to treat wastewater. SAPPHIRE further aims to reduce the carbon footprint and therefore is an active participant in the Carbon Disclosure Project.
SAPPHIRE is a responsible competitor that aligns with UNGC's Sustainable Development Goals and has invested in several initiatives, including HIGG Index, Corporate Fiber and Material Benchmark by Textile Exchange, and the business ambition for 1.5°C campaign by SBTi.
